FOOTBALL & CHEER COACH PAGE Coaching with the Raiders will be one of the most rewarding, and challenging, experiences you may ever have. The Raiders organization truly believe that the strength of the organization is the coaching staffs. Put quite simply, good coaches make a good program. All coaches are required to fill out a coaching application and take the approved course offered by Hillsborough County. While there are only a limited number of head coaching positions, the organization is always looking for motivated coaches to assist and help in various areas of development. Please make sure to get this done if you plan on volunteering in any capacity at all with the Raiders.CERTIFICATION All coaches must be certified by Hillsborough County and pass a background check in order to coach. Any adult is not certified by the county and who has not passed the background check cannot go onto the practice fields or onto the football fields. NO EXCEPTIONS! Head coaches, Board Members, and qualified Assistant Coaches have the authority to prevent any adult from walking onto the practice or game fields. This is necessary to ensure the safety of young players and cheerleaders we have been intrusted to coach. The process for certification is set forth on the TBYFL website Click Here for Certification. ON LINE CERTIFICATION NOW AVAILABLE 2010 Coaches Certification Class ScheduleAll coaches, Board Members, and volunteers will have to be certified and PHOTOGRAPHED by Hillsborough County.
