The Raiders utilize a wait list and an active list for each season.  We will accept applications from any player or cheerleader.  However, if the application is not accompanied with the fee, the application will be placed on the wait list.  Wait list applicants will not be allowed to practice and will not be issued equipment.  When the fee is paid in full, the application will be moved from the wait list to the active list.  There are only a limited number of spots available for each squad, so it is highly recommended to move quickly and ensure a spot on the active list so that your child can participate in the Raider's organization.  Any applicant not paid in full when the rosters are filled will remain on the wait list until a spot becomes available.  Only those wait list applicants who have paid in full will be considered for the active roster.

No payment from a third party will be accepted as the application fee unless specifically "earmarked" or identified for a specific player.  For example, if XYZ, Inc. makes a donation to the Raider organization it will go to the general account.  If a parent works for XYZ, Inc. the donation WILL NOT be used as the application fee unless the donation from XYZ, Inc. has expressly identified the applicant on the check or payment.  If a third party is paying the application fee PLEASE MAKE SURE THE APPLICANT IS IDENTIFIED ON THE PAYMENT!

Rule 3 of the TBYFL Bylaws establishes Ages and Weights

3.1 Age Certification

Each team shall have a birth certificate for each player and cheerleader, which shall be presented to the
League at registration. If the player or cheerleader participated in the previous season, this requirement
shall be waived. The League shall retain the previous season's weigh-in rosters and picture identification
cards for a minimum of one year. Each Organization shall retain a copy of the certification for new
players and cheerleaders for a minimum of one year.

3.2 Age Determination

Football player's age will be determined by their age as of July 31 of each season. Cheerleader's age will
be determined by their age as of September 1 of each season.
 

3.3 Weights
 

The following ages and weights shall be strictly enforced:

Lightweight note: There cannot be more than five (5) new light weight players on each squad. A
new light weight is defined as a player who was never registered with the League or did not play during
the previous season.

There will be no weight increases during the regular season.
